A shocking Sharjah murder case involving a Karnataka man has come to light after the dismembered body of Alwin Prakash Kunder, a native of Kundapur in Udupi district, was reportedly found in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. According to media reports, Kunder had been working at Sharjah Airport for nearly 14 years.

Who Was Alwin Prakash Kunder?

Kunder reportedly lived in Sharjah with his wife and teenage son. His wife was reportedly working as a teacher, while their son was studying in Class 10.

According to reports, Kunder’s family in Karnataka became concerned after they were unable to contact him. His brother reportedly made several attempts to reach him but received no response.

Family Became Concerned After His Disappearance

According to reports quoting Kunder’s brother, attempts were made to contact him around July 20. A message was allegedly received from Kunder’s phone stating that he was fine. However, his family reportedly found the message unusual because he generally communicated through voice messages.

As concerns grew, an acquaintance in Sharjah was reportedly asked to check on Kunder. The person allegedly visited the accommodation associated with his workplace. The family was reportedly told that Kunder had gone to India.

However, his relatives later checked available information and reportedly found that he had not travelled to India. A missing-person complaint was subsequently filed with authorities in Sharjah.

Dismembered Body Found in Two Bags

The investigation took a disturbing turn when Kunder’s vehicle was reportedly found on a road leading towards Oman on August 12.

According to reports, the dismembered body was discovered inside the boot of his Toyota car. His brother has reportedly said that the body had been cut into nine pieces and packed into two bags.

The identity of the victim was subsequently established, with reports stating that DNA evidence helped confirm that the remains belonged to Kunder.
