On the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day, PM Modi At Mega Yoga Day Event In Vizag said something very deep calling Yoga the necessary “pause button this world requires for humanity.” Addressing a grand congregation at Visakhapatnam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated heartily India and the whole world praising Yoga to be more than just an exercise that can be performed by anyone in sheer plainness.
“Yoga For One Earth, For One Health” is this year’s theme which emphasizes the holistic relevance of Yoga in the integrated world. The Prime Minister asserted, while leading the unfurling of celebration, “Yoga is not just an exercise; it is a way of life.” stressing that Yoga transcends barriers of nation, age, and physical capacity.
Modi spoke of Yoga as that which unites: “All-for-one,” he said, “Yoga is above borders, backgrounds, age or ability. It has joined the world.” He affirmed that in the days of international unrest, Yoga has a unique remedy: “Yoga is the pause button that humanity needs to breathe again.”

The Prime Minister spoke of India’s forward step in scientifically and therapeutically propagating Yoga: “India is pushing the frontiers of Yoga science through modern research,” he said-and cited institutes like the Delhi AIIMS for pioneering studies. Such studies, according to him, have confirmed the role of Yoga in treating cardiac and neurological disorders while extending a huge degree of cooperation in women’s health and mental wellness.
Revolving around the global turbulence PM Modi captured the truth of how yoga brings lucidity and calmness: “Today the entire world is undergoing a crisis of tension and unrest. In such times, yoga gives us the direction of peace. Yoga is the pause button that humanity needs to breathe, balance, and become whole again.”
Yet another moving phrase of Modi pointedly revealed the transformational potency of Yoga: “Yoga is a wonderful system that takes us from me to we.” Such a great principle becomes, according to him, the base on which the unity is encouraged not only within but across nations.

This is not a usual incident in today’s world,” he emphasized. That moment, he said, marked the beginning of a movement which will continue sweeping through the world with growing intensity and significance.
