On Saturday in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district, two private buses ran into each other in the early hours. Six people, including two women, were killed and 20 others injured, as reported by a police official . The collision took place at around 2:30 am on a flyover located in Malkapur town within the district, according to the police official’s statement.

One of the buses was en route to Hingoli after completing the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage, while the other private bus was heading towards Nashik. The run-in resulted from the Nashik-bound bus attempting to overtake a truck but inadvertently coming in front of the other bus.

Regrettably, the collision claimed the lives of six individuals, including two women, and left 20 others injured. Prompt action was taken by senior district police officials who quickly arrived at the scene and rushed the injured to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The accident caused a disruption in traffic flow on the road for a period of time.

The incident serves as a somber reminder of the importance of road safety and caution while traveling, as it can have devastating consequences for passengers, pedestrians, and others on the road.
