Swift Response and Inquiry

Quick action ensued as the ailing students were swiftly transported to a nearby government hospital. There, medical care was administered promptly, and thankfully, the children’s conditions stabilized. The incident has sparked concern among Education Department officials, prompting the initiation of a thorough inquiry. Stringent measures are promised against those accountable for the oversight of meal preparation.

This unfortunate event in Annamayya echoes a similar incident in October at Anikgaon Hindi-medium school in Chembur, where 16 students aged 11 to 12 fell ill after consuming a midday meal. These incidents highlight the importance of vigilance in ensuring the safety and quality of meals provided to students across schools.
