Karnataka News: Dismissed Worker Detained in Murder of Karnataka Officer
Karnataka News: In a tragic incident in Bengaluru, a senior government officer, KS Pratima, was brutally murdered. The police have detained Kiran, a former contract employee of the Karnataka government, as a suspect. It’s believed that he resorted to this heinous act after Pratima dismissed him from his job. After the crime, he fled to Chamrajnagar district but was arrested on Monday.

Dedicated Officer and Dismissed Driver
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand shared that the suspect worked as a driver and had lost his job only a week or so ago. Pratima was highly regarded in her field, known for her dynamism and fearlessness, earning a great reputation through her work in the Mines and Geology Department.

Tragically, 37-year-old KS Pratima, who had an MSc degree and a commendable track record, lost her life in her Bengaluru residence on November 5. Her dedication to her work and her reputation for following the rules have left her family and colleagues deeply saddened by her untimely loss.
