Metro Etiquette Breach

The video quickly spread on social media, drawing a flood of comments. Some expressed their disapproval, noting that eating or drinking in the metro is strictly prohibited and that such behaviour sets a bad example. There were speculations that this incident must have taken place in the Delhi Metro, known for such peculiar occurrences. Amidst the criticism, there were a few sarcastic remarks like “Mind-blowing.”

Metro Behavior Challenges

This is not the first time that controversial videos have surfaced from the Delhi metro. In March, a ban on filming inside Delhi metro trains was imposed, but videos from inside the metro coaches continue to find their way online.

In a public service message on social media, the DMRC reminded passengers to travel without causing trouble. They emphasized being considerate and not being a nuisance to fellow commuters. The ban on photography inside Delhi Metro and station premises has been in place for security reasons, but it has become harder to enforce with the rise of social media, making such videos readily available.
