6 Died As School Bus Banged Into An SUV At Delhi-Meerut Expressway

A painful accident happened at Delhi-Meerut expressway, when a school bus banged into an SUV with 8 people. 6 people died on the spot and 2 are in critical condition.

On 11 July, Tuesday morning at least 6 people died, including 2 children and 2 were critically injured, in an accident in which a School bus bumped into an SUV at DelhiMeerut expressway near Ghaziabad. ADCP traffic police said that the School bus driver was coming from the wrong side after filling CNG  from Ghazipur. The accident took place nearly at 6 am and the school bus is affiliated to Bal Bharti school in Noida.

The bus driver, responsible for the accident has been nabbed by the police. Out of the 8 people in the SUV 6 died on the spot including 2 children and two are in critical condition, they were taken to the hospital immediately. A team of the officers reached the spot and the area was sealed off. The vehicles coming from Meerut have to head towards Gurugram.

Reports say that those who died are of the same family and no one in the school bus was hurt. ADCP officers said that the bus driver is answerable to the accident. An 8 year old child, one of those seriously injured in the accident was taken to the nearest hospital.
