55-Year-Old ACP In New Delhi Dies By Suicide Amid Grief

A 55-year-old Delhi Police official, Anil Sisodia, allegedly died by suicide in Jangpura, New Delhi, possibly due to grief over his wife's demise. Investigations are ongoing.

A tragic incident occurred in Jangpura, New Delhi, where a 55-year-old Delhi Police official, Anil Sisodia, reportedly took his own life using his revolver. Anil Sisodia was serving as an assistant commissioner of police in the south-west zone. Sadly, his wife had passed away three years ago, which might have contributed to his emotional distress, as per the Delhi Police.

Police Find ACP Dead

Anil had carried out his duties until 9:00 p.m. the day before but had not responded to calls and messages thereafter. Concerned about his well-being, the police went to Sisodia’s residence and discovered his lifeless body. Subsequently, his body was sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
