Now the diesel guzzling trucks will have to pay environment surcharge to enter Delhi. India’s Supreme Court on Friday gave green signal to the move as pollution is choking capital.
Buses and emergency vehicles such as Ambulance will be spared from the environment compensation charges.
The charges will vary from 700 to 1300 per trip and addition to toll tax.
