Gandhi Jayanti 2026: Free Medical Camp Organized at Praganrayan Mook-Badhir Vidyalaya, Aligarh

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October 2026, a special free medical check-up camp was organized at Praganrayan Mook-Badhir Vidyalaya, Sasni Gate, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The initiative was organized for children with hearing disabilities who are receiving education and training at the institution. Teachers and staff members of the school were also included in the medical screening.

The camp was organized courtesy of the Inner Wheel Club of Aligarh Pahal Team-311, with support from medical specialists from different fields. The initiative reflected the importance of accessible healthcare and community support, particularly for children who may require specialized medical attention.

Specialized ENT Check-Up for Hearing-Impaired Children

Hearing and communication are important aspects of a child’s education and overall development. Recognizing this need, an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) medical check-up was conducted by Dr. Moh. Parvez of Dhwani Hearing & Speech Clinic.

The ENT specialist examined the participating students and provided appropriate medical advice based on their individual requirements. Such screenings can help identify hearing-related concerns and other ENT conditions that may affect communication, learning, comfort and day-to-day activities.

For children studying at a school dedicated to hearing-impaired students, access to professional guidance in hearing and speech-related healthcare can be particularly valuable.

Eye Health Screening Conducted by Specialists

Eye health was another important focus of the Gandhi Jayanti medical camp. Varun Eye Care provided specialist eye examinations for the students and school staff participating in the programme.

Regular eye check-ups can help identify common vision-related concerns at an early stage. For school-going children, maintaining good eye health is especially important because clear vision can support classroom learning, reading, writing and participation in educational activities.

The medical team assessed the participants and provided suitable guidance wherever required.

Dental Check-Up and Oral Healthcare Guidance

A dedicated dental medical team and dental clinic also participated in the camp to provide oral health examinations. Students and teachers were examined and given appropriate dental advice.

Dental health plays an important role in children’s overall well-being. Regular dental check-ups can help identify oral health issues early and encourage children to develop healthy habits related to brushing, hygiene and preventive care.

The availability of dental consultation during the camp allowed participating students and staff members to receive professional guidance without any cost.

Free Medical Advice and Medicines Provided

One of the important aspects of the initiative was that the participants received medical consultation along with appropriate medicines wherever required. This made the camp more than a routine screening programme, as individuals were also guided about the next steps for addressing identified health concerns.

Providing medical support within the school environment can make healthcare more accessible to students and reduce the difficulties associated with arranging separate consultations.

Support from Inner Wheel Club of Aligarh Pahal Team-311

The medical camp was organized with the support of the Inner Wheel Club of Aligarh Pahal Team-311. The club’s members contributed to bringing together medical professionals and facilitating the healthcare initiative at the school.

Community-led programmes such as these can create meaningful opportunities to connect educational institutions with healthcare professionals and social organizations. The initiative also highlighted the importance of collective participation in supporting children with disabilities.

School Principal Expresses Gratitude

At the conclusion of the programme, Mr. Ramji Lal Mathuria, Principal of Praganrayan Mook-Badhir Vidyalaya, expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the medical camp.

He thanked Poonam Sharma, President of the club; Rita Varshney, Vice President; former President Deepali Agrawal; Secretary Alka Varshney; all club members; participating doctors and women doctors; and the school staff for their valuable support and cooperation.

The expression of appreciation recognized the combined efforts of the organizers, healthcare professionals and school team in making the medical screening programme possible.

Gandhi Jayanti Message of Service and Care

The medical camp organized at Praganrayan Mook-Badhir Vidyalaya Sasni Gate Aligarh Uttar Pradesh added a meaningful community-service dimension to Gandhi Jayanti 2026. By bringing ENT, eye and dental specialists together under one initiative, the programme focused on preventive healthcare and medical awareness for students and staff.

The initiative on Gandhi Jayanti served as a reminder of the value of compassion, service and community participation. Through such healthcare-focused programmes, organizations can contribute to the well-being of children and encourage greater awareness of regular medical check-ups and preventive care.
