Firing At Disha Patani UP Home: Goldy Brar Gang Claims Responsibility, Warns ‘Just A Trailer’ And Threatens Future Attacks
Unknown assailants opened fire outside actor Disha Patani’s residence in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, in a shocking attack that has left fans and authorities alarmed. The responsibility for the incident was claimed by a member of the Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar gang, raising serious concerns about threats against celebrities in India. The gang’s statement has made it clear that the attack was not random but a targeted warning.
In a post on Facebook, Virendra Charan, a member of the gang, stated that the shooting was merely a “trailer.” Charan added that the gang would not tolerate any form of insult to deities or Sanatan Dharma. “Next time, if she or anyone else shows any disrespect towards our religion, we will not let them leave alive from their house,” the post read, signaling the gang’s willingness to escalate their actions.

The statement further accused Disha Patani of allegedly insulting spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj. “This message is not only for her but also for all film artists and people associated with her. If anyone does any such disrespectful act related to our religion and saints in future, then be ready to face the consequences,” Charan added. The post emphasized that protecting religion and society is the gang’s utmost priority, and they claim to be prepared to go to any extent to enforce this principle.
The attack prompted immediate police action. Actor Disha Patani’s father, Jagdish Patani, filed a complaint with local authorities, following which five police teams were formed to track and apprehend the perpetrators. The incident reportedly took place on the night between Thursday and Friday, causing panic in the celebrity’s neighborhood and attracting widespread media attention.
This alarming attack is not an isolated event. Only a month ago, three masked men opened fire at the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram. Police confirmed that one of the two men who fired dozens of shots at Yadav’s house was arrested during a police encounter in Faridabad. Mr. Yadav was away from home at the time of the incident, but his caretaker and some family members were present. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during that attack.
The Bareilly firing incident highlights a growing pattern of threats and violence targeting public figures, raising concerns about celebrity security across India. The Goldy Brar gang’s declaration that this was only a “trailer” signals a potential escalation, and authorities are under pressure to prevent further incidents. Law enforcement officials are closely monitoring the situation, while public safety experts call for enhanced security measures for celebrities and influencers.

The attack also sparked a debate about freedom of expression and the extent to which threats and intimidation can influence public discourse. Fans of Disha Patani expressed shock and outrage on social media, condemning the attack and demanding strict action against the perpetrators. At the same time, authorities emphasized that investigations are underway and assured the public that safety measures will be reinforced.
With multiple such incidents reported in recent months, there is growing concern over how organized gangs are increasingly targeting celebrities in India. The authorities face the challenge of ensuring public figures can live and work safely while taking swift action against criminal elements. The firing at Disha Patani’s UP home has now become a stark reminder of the threats faced by those in the public eye, and the need for vigilance in both law enforcement and personal security.
