Nightlife Gets an Extension: Open Until 4 AM
According to government spokesperson Traisulee Traisaranakul, entertainment establishments in the aforementioned tourist hotspots will now be permitted to stay open two extra hours, allowing the vibrant nightlife to continue until 4 AM. This move is seen as a significant step towards making Thailand an even more attractive destination for global travellers.
Prime Minister’s Directive: Effective from December 15
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, in a bid to boost the economy through tourism, announced that the new regulations would come into effect starting December 15.
