A soldier, who was buried under 25 feet of snow following an avalanche in the Siachen Glacier, was found alive in critical condition after six days of rescue operation. This is not less than a miracle.
Lt Gen DS Hooda, Northern Army Commander told that”it was a miraculous rescue; all efforts are being made to evacuate Lance Mail Hanaman Thappa to the RR hospital.”
He further added that five bodies have been recovered and four of them are identified as well but they are no more with us.
He hoped that another miracle continues with Thappa, who hails from Karnataka.
