Sharif has agreed to clarify his position in Panama leaks

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has accused the opposition of useless public uproar on Panama leaks as he has already written to the Chief justice to investigate about the offshore accounts of the Pakistanis.

Moreover the Prime Minister has agreed to clear his position and address Parliament on Monday. Sharif has said that there were no justifications on the opposition’s hue and cry, especially after when he himself has asked the Chief Justice to look in to the matter.

Prime Minister believes that the opposition’s criticisms are baseless and was not aimed at bringing improvements to the country but was only meant to target him.

The government has been in lot of pressure after the Panama leaks, so he urged the opposition to instead follow a development-oriented agenda as negative politics have always proved detrimental to the country.

Prime Minister Sharif, Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Kyrgyz Prime Minister Jeenbekov Sooranbai has formally inaugurated the Central Asia-South Asia (Casa-1000) electricity project in Tursunzade, Tajikistan on Wednesday.

And after his return, the Prime Minister held a consultative meeting with his part and discussed the oppositions move. Sharif was to address the National Assembly today to clarify his position in Panama leaks but his statement was rescheduled by the opposition’s request on Monday.
