The Railway will be launching ‘Rail Humsafar Saptaah’ from May 26 to June 1 it will be a week long celebration to highlight achievements of the Indian Railway achieved during the last two years of the NDA regime.
Each day of the week will be focusing on a particular theme and will be observed as Satkar Diwas, Sewa Diwas, Sanchaar Diwas, Swachchta Diwas, Satarkata Diwas, Sanyojan Diwas and Saamanjasya Diwas.
Suresh Prabhu the Minister if Railways has directed that all the General Managers should personally supervise the various activities which will take place during this week.
During the tenure of last two years, a number of initiatives have been launched and various significant achievements are made by the Indian Railways in all spheres, especially in its accessibility, responsiveness and improvement of passenger amenities.
