Finally, after lot of amendments and tweaks, the Delhi government has approved the Jan Lokpal Bill, 2015. And will soon present it before the 70 member Delhi Assembly.
According to Bill, an independent authority would be established to investigate offences under law of 1988.
Apart from it, bill has also prescribed time bound investigations . All the investigation will be done within six months.
Once it will be passed, the bill will be sent to LT Najeeb Jung for final approval.
