President of Venezuela , Nicolas Maduro had declared a 60 day state of emergency on May 13. Though, he did not provide any details about the major decision.
The main reason behind imposing in the country was due to the threats within his country and as well as from the US for imposing the measure.

According to a report, Maduro, who will remain in power till 2019 has accused the US of plotting against him with the help of right wing opposition leaders.
On the other hand, opposition party heavily criticized the President by saying “Today Maduro has again violated the constitution, Why? Because he is scared of being recalled.”
