When entire Uttarakhand was sleeping earthquake of medium intensity hit the city. Intensity of earthquake was measured 4.1 on the Richter scale. Well! Till now there has been no reports of casualties.

As per reports of National Centre for Seismology, the epicenter of the quake was Pithoragarh in the state and it struck around 23:30 am at the depth of 15 km.
Situation is totally under control in the Uttarakhand. People were not able to detect at the time when earthquake hits the city as it was recorded of medium intensity. No after shakes were noticed in the city. Everyone is safe there!
