Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev is all set to do something out of the blue as he will organize a charity football match on Sunday in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru stadium.
The match will be played between several parliamentarians and movie stars. According to Baba Ramdev,match is being played to promote Modi’s two pet campaigns- Swachh Bharat and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao ( saving the girl child).
Shantanu Gupta, who is Ramdev’s communication advisor said, “Baba Ramdev is a health enthusiast and football promotes good health. So he agreed to become the brand ambassador for the match.

The PM in his Man Ki Baat (radio address) in March talked about promoting football. So Baba Ramdev decided to create awareness.”
He also added, “The money will be donated to fund the two campaigns.”
Bollywood actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Manoj Tewari and MPs like west Delhi MP Parvesh Verma, Bansgaon MP Kamlesh Paswan, Aligarh MP Satish Gautam, Begusarai MP Bhola Singh and TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu are some of the names who will be competing against each other in the match.
The tickets for the match are priced at Rs 200, Rs 400 and Rs 800.
