The 3rd global festival of journalism has kicked off today in Noida. It is one of the leading events in the field of journalism and it is back with its 3rd edition.


It is an opportunity and an open invitation to create more networks in the field of journalism. Delegates from 30 countries all across the world and all states from India made the event more exclusive by their participation.

Formal inauguration of the event was done on the International day of Journalism that is 12th of February at Marwah Studio Film city. The festival will entail for next two days.


Inauguration of the event was done by the Prime Minister of Tibet Dr. Lobsang Sangay. The event is all about to promote good journalism all across the nations. And to tell the young generation about the power of journalist and their good write –ups.


Adding more to it president of Marwah studio Sandeep Marwah said “good journalism and ethical reporting can change the outlook of entire world”

On asking from Dr. Lobsang Sangay he said “I am overwhelmed with the very good thought process of Mr. Sandeep Marwah who has brought idea of peace in the world of journalism”


The festival opened with a tribute to the most celebrated cartoonist R.K. Laxman. A book written by his brother ‘Ramachandran’ featuring his cartoons and published by Research Centre of Asian Academy of Film and Television was released in his honor.


Not only in India but this festival is happening for third time in the entire Asia. According Sandeep Marwah “In the current scenario where impact of journalism is so much on common people. So, it is important for everyone to realize its importance”

The Tibetan Prime Minister also said “That no country can prosper without love and peace”.


At the end President Sandeep Marwah honored Dr. Lobsang Sangay with the life membership of International Journalism Centre.
