According to the latest update the 251 Freedom site has stopped taking orders as the servers of the site has crashed due to the overwhelming response the phone has got from consumers.
The site has claimed that it is receiving approx 6 lacs hits per second as result servers are overloaded. The site has confirmed to take a pause and will resume its services of taking orders after 24 hours.
The site will soon start taking the orders. Though, the price of the mobile is Rs. 251 but one need to shell out an additional charge of Rs.40 as the shipping charges. So the phone will cost you Rs. 291.
