When we woke up in the morning today we experience some form of God’s wrath. As we look at our bedside clock we wonder how the month went so fast. We always seem to struggle in understanding our sleeping habit.

Ravi Allada made an extensive observation of circadian rhythms and has been able to understand why it makes us awake and sends us to sleep.

It seems the mechanism is much like a switch that turns the brain neurons on and off and affects our daily cycle timing. They found the test animals were awake due to traces of sodium. Similarly at night, potassium activity allowed the animal to turn off, to sleep.

Eventually it will help to provide in addressing jet lag disorders and other sleep induced problems. We will be able to control our biological clock to suit our situation.
