Mercury Transit in India will begin from 4:40 pm!

One of the rare celestial events will take place today as Mercury will transit between the earth and sun. This event occur approximately 13 times every century.

According to reports, the Mercury Transition would visible from all across the India. And it is expected to begin from 4:40 pm. Dwarka in Gujarat would experience the longest transit of about 2 hours and 43 minutes.

During the transition Mercury would be seen as the small black dot on the sun. This long 7 hours and 30 minutes long transit is expected to be visible from most of the parts of Asia.
