The year 2022 was a whirlwind for many; it went as fast as it came. The year 2023, hopefully, will be more grounded and give us a chance to take in every moment as it passes by. A great way to start this beautiful journey is by inculcating the habit of meditation. Meditation is a word we see thrown around very casually these days. But, a lot of people do understand the science behind this amazing practice.

What is meditation?

Meditation is a simple act of mindfulness. It can be something as simple as focusing your attention on an object, focusing on your breath and looking inwards. Additionally, meditation can also be an easy chanting of mantras to centre your attention. The versatility of meditation techniques is what gives it an extra edge. You can choose the form that suits you the best.

To begin with, meditation can be extremely unnerving and difficult at first. We live in a world where our attention is constantly diverted, from one thing to another. So, take the practice slowly, give it time to build and only then can you see the true benefits of it. So, while we take this first step to build a practice, here are some apps to help you.
