The Urban Development Ministry will be reviewing the progress in the implementation of its various schemes in Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana.
As per the press release by the ministry, Rajiv Gauba the Urban Development Secretary will take stock of implementations of the new urban missions Swachh Bharat Mission, the Smart City Mission and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).
Review on progress of ‘Urban Schemes’ in Punjab, Haryana by Center
The meeting is going to be held as a part of state-wise being held by the Ministry of Urban Development.
Moreover, similar meetings were earlier held in Mumbai, Jaipur, Bangalore, and Visakhapatnam.
16 cities in Punjab and Chandigarh, 20 in Haryana has been further included in the AMRUT, which aims at improving the basic infra infrastructure.
