The Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry and India’s Foreign Secretary, S. Jaishankar held a bilateral meeting in South Block New Delhi on Tuesday . Aizaz Ahmed was in Delhi for the Heart Of Asia Conference. Everyone had an eye on this bilateral talks as it was first bilateral meeting after the Pathankot Terror Attack.

In the bilateral meeting, the foreign secretaries talked about issues that concerned them and the issue of Jammu and Kashmir was also raised. According to a diplomatic source, as stated in a leading daily , “All outstanding issues, including the very important and crucial dispute over Jammu and Kashmir was also discussed.”
The Foreign Secretary emphasized that Kashmir remains the core issue, which requires a solution, in accordance with UNSC resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people.” The meeting lasted for one hour and thirty minutes.
