Homosexuality is not a crime: RSS

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is known for their controversial thoughts but today’s statement made by the RSS has shocked everyone, they said that according to them homosexuality is not a crime and underlined the performance freedom of an individual in matters of sexuality.

On the first day of the two day India Today Conclave 2016 RSS’s Joint General Secretary Dattatray a Hosable said that Homosexuality is not a crime as long as it does not affect the lives of others. Sexual preference is a private issue.

Recently Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley had also called for decriminalizing homosexuality. According to section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, homosexuality is unnatural and carries a maximum punishment of ten years in jail. India is among the 70 countries in the world, where homosexuality is criminalized.
