High Court reserved its judgment on plea challenging Article 370

The Delhi Court has reserved its judgment on the plea challenging validity of Article 370 of the constitution, which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a report, a bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Jayant Nath said that “File your submissions. We will consider it and will pass an order.”

The counsel that appearing for state of Jammu and Kashmir told the bench that similar issue was raised before Supreme Court also but it refused to intervene.

Adding more to it the counsel also said that the PIL was a politically motivated petition nothing more than it .

The lawyer appearing for the petition, Kumari Vijayalakshmi Jha argued that the petition raised before the High Court than the petition, which was put before Supreme Court.

After listening to both the parties, court has asked both the parties to file their written petition within a week.
