The upper house had on Wednesday passed the GST Bill and now the government is likely to introduce the constitution Amendment Bill on GST in Lok Sabha next week.
The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is all geared up to the tam measure for the April 1st next year.
Notably, six official amendments that included scrapping of one percent additional tax were move by the government and were all approved by the house.
The bill was earlier passed by the lower house now it will go back to Lok Sabha to incorporate the amendments approved by the Rajya Sabha.
