Curfew imposed in 10 districts of Kashmir

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha, curfew would be imposed in 10 districts of Kashmir today.

The Valley will hardly witness any celebrations on the occasion of Eid, which is one of the most awaited Muslim festivals, as the state government has imposed restrictions to prevent the outbreak of violence.

For the high security and surveillance, Helicopters and drones will be used in the Valley to prevent any unwanted incident.

The army has also been ordered to stay on standby and vigilant.

According to reports, the decision to impose such restrictions on the assembly of large number of people has been taken in the view of separatists’ call for March to the local offices of the United Nations today.

The shutdown of internet services of all the networks and also mobile telephony except the state-run BSNL for the next 72 hours has also been imposed in the Valley.
