The Arvind Kejriwal government on Tuesday moved to Supreme Court requesting it to ban the diesel taxis in the phased manner.
This move came after the taxi drivers blocked the roads of NCR for the second consecutive day today. On the plea the court responded that it will examine the Delhi government’s recommendation.

Meanwhile, Chief Justice T.S Thakur has asked the Delhi government to give the roadmap so that they can phase out diesel cabs and switch over to cleaner compressed natural gas fuel.
However, between all this, problem has been created for the people of Delhi.
