Shirgao Jatra Chaos: Six Fatalities, 30 Wounded; PM’s Call

Shirgao Jatra became a tragic scene when multiple deaths and thirty injuries occurred during the sacred celebration at Shree Lairai Devi temple in Goa. Funeral as well as national authorities rushed with swift actions after this tragic event resulted in Goan community mourning.

The festival stampede took place in the first hours as thousands of devotees observed traditional religious rituals at the location.
