Muslims attacking Hindus!

Kisne feka: A video of CCTV footage in which people are thrashing men is going viral on social media. In the CCTV clip, two youths are brutally attacked by five assailants. One of the victims was dragged aside and was kicked and hit with a rock. Later, the victims are shoved into a drain. It is being claimed that the victims are Hindus who were brutally attacked by Muslims.

Foolproof: An India Today report stated that the incident involved a robbery on the night of December 20, 2021. The incident took place in the Sangam Vihar area of Delhi. The report details how the crime was carried out with the intention of looting. The India Today report quotes the Delhi police, who said that the crime took place to steal just Rs 3,000. The two victims have been identified as Pankaj and Jatin. They were returning from a birthday party at around 2 am when both of them were ambushed.

According to an NDTV report, one of the victims, Jatin, passed away due to injuries. In response, the report mentions that Ramjan Ali, a resident of Sangam Vihar, was arrested.

According to the tweet from ANI, no communal angle was involved in the case. The other arrested accused were Hindus, apart from one of the accused who was Muslim.

Kisne feka: A claim is making the rounds these days, linking the Jahangirpuri violence with the holy month of Ramadan. In a video, a group of men in white clothes termed “Jubbah,” can be seen fighting with each other. The video indicates that it was shot during iftar, as meals can be seen.

Foolproof: The same video was shared in May 2019 with a similar caption. According to a report in The New Arab, the viral video was recorded in front of the Al-Ghamamah Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The reason for the scuffle was not known, but locals said that the fight took place after a dispute over the seating area before the food was served.

 Gehlot’s anti-Hindu bulldozer on Mandir!

Kisne feka: A few days back, in Rajasthan’s Alwar, the municipality bulldozed three temples. During this anti-encroachment drive, a 300-year-old temple was also demolished, after which a political tussle started between Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Amidst all of this, an image of JCB and a crane machine demolishing a temple is going viral on social media. While sharing the image, people on social media claimed that the viral image was of Alwar, where the “anti-Hindu” Gehlot government demolished the temples of the Hindus in the country.

Foolproof: This is a piece of fake news. A report by Aaj Tak dated June 14, 2015. The title of the report reads in Hindi, “जयपुर मेट्रो के विस्तार की खतिर ढहा दिए 200 साल पुराने मदिर. A 200-year-old temple was demolished for a metro project in Jaipur. Metro work was interrupted due to the Rozgareshwar Mahadev and Kashharan Mahadev temples of Jaipur. Jaipur Metro officials said that they had sent notice before demolishing the temple so that the idols and items could be shifted to the right place in time.

In 2015, there was a BJP government in Rajasthan and the CM was Vasundhara Raje.
