Foolproof: The viral video is from Jalandhar, Punjab. Both wrestlers are from India. It has nothing to do with Pakistan.

Fake news: A viral video shows the funeral procession of Inder Meghwal, who allegedly died after being thrashed by his teacher.

Foolproof: A viral video is of the funeral procession of an Indian Army soldier, ‘Jilajeet Yadav’ from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, who died in 2020.

The AAP government is spreading lies about Delhi schools!

Kisne feka: BJP leaders claimed the Aam Aadmi Party government is using Images of students of private schools to spread lies through international publications.

Foolproof: The image published in the NYT article shows Mother’s Mary school, an all-girls school, whereas Sarvodaya school, a co-educational school. Both schools are different, and the Delhi government runs the Sarvodaya school.

Fake news: Kids below five years will be fully charged for tickets by Indian railways.

Foolproof: Indian railways have not introduced any new changes regarding booking tickets for children. Passengers can buy a ticket and book a berth for their child under five years if they wish. Moreover, if a separate berth is not required, then travel on the train is free.

Kisne feka: Prithviraj Chauhan’s maternal grandfather, emperor Anangpal Tomar built Delhi’s, Red Fort.

Foolproof: Shah Jahan built Lal Qila, or Red Fort, in 1648. The claim on social media that the Lal Qila or Red Fort was built by Anangpal Tomar 300 years before Shahjahan is false, as Tomar built the Lal-Kot (Qila Rai Pithora), not the Lal Qila.

Fake news: People blocked the road to welcome the Bhim Army chief at Jalore over the Dalit boy’s death.

Foolproof: The viral video is of Shihab Chottur, a 29-year-old man from Kerala who is on his Haj pilgrimage to Mecca on foot.
