WHO promotes campaign for fighting against foodborne diseases!

According to a report of WHO,around 600 million people in this world, fall ill because of contaminated food each year and most of them are young children.

Recently, WHO gave its first global estimates of preventable fooborne diseases, WHO have suggested industries to improve inspections and control of the food chain from the fields and farmyard to factory and plates.

Though, the disease has common symptoms such as diarrhoea and vomiting but can cause longer term illness including cancer, Kidney or liver failure.

The deaths caused due to them are highest in developing countries but developed have also seen deadly outbreak. So, WHO has suggested that taking precautions are very important to maintain health of the citizens.
