TO THE BHANGRA, EVERYBODY!


Micky Singh, when we look back, was one of the semi-finalists in India’s Got Talent, season 2, a reality show where people from all across the country showcase the various talents they have. He then moved on to streamline his love for bhangra and took it to the next level; internationally.

In his early days, Micky completed graduation in Law from Panjab University, soon after which passion took over profession and he went on to impart his bhangra skills as an international choreographer. He also acts in Punjabi movies and is one of the dearly loved stars of Punjab’s Bollywood, so to speak.


Now let us introduce you to ‘Charlie Singh’, a four minute short movie concept introducing the bhangra star as Charlie Singh. The main motive behind the movie is to evoke fun and emotions where the former basically wants to promote his forte, bhangra, on a wider platform.

Story is written by Micky Singh, Directed by Abhey Singh (THE BLEEDING NIBS) and jointly produced by Neeraj Punj and Micky Singh. Choreography is done both by Jaspreet Singh Jassi and Micky Singh.


Here’s how you can catch a glimpse of the movie:

The Premier of CHARLIE SINGH will be launched on 14th June 2015, Sunday 3:30 pm onwards at their home studio, Library of sound and dance, ‘STUDIO –X’, sector- 8c, Chandigarh .


All directors, actors , producers , dance lovers , production heads from Punjabi film industry will be a part of this premier, the aim and vision of which is to promote Bhangra at a higher level and pave out a new path for all short movies on dance .


Done more than 140 bhangra shows nationally as well as in 24 other countries, Micky Singh is a renowned Bhangra choreographer and aerobics instructor. He has a different tune to all his work and choreographies. He has also starred in 5 Punjabi movies. Apart from this, he runs his own fitness and dance studio academy in Chandigarh namely ‘STUDIO-X’: Library of sound and dance.


He has a page on Facebook named Micky- BHANGRA instructor and choreographer, having more than 28,000 likes.
