To promote the album Swift used internet to market herself and that too with big success. She released her second album Love Story and became super hit in UK, where she was promoted as a pop artist. “That was a turning point in my life”, Swift said in an interview. Besides Swift is the only signer ever to sell more than a million first week US copies of three separate albums. Her album Fearless took her to Grammy award and became the first youngest ever winner of Album of the year Grammy (2010).

As a kid, she used to sing for sports day at school, about traffic for a local radio station and participated in debates. Swift said once, “I was considered as a born singer at school and took ten years to reach what I am today,” Though she has everything in her kitty, Swiftis most concerned with her personal image. “I am scared about public perception. Even going out with friends both boy and girls gives paparazzi to write gossip without finding out the truth,” Swift said.

So far she has 52.8 million followers on Twitter, 22.1 million on Instagram and 74.4 million likes on Facebook. “Fans are my greatest critics. Sometimes my fans make fun of me but I always take it positively. I send even gifts with my personal notes to my fans.” She is scared of using internet because of the possibility of hacking and instead she prefers online interaction with Swifties, her hardcore fans. “But I avoid sycophantic fans,”

During an interview Swift said that for the last one year she has not been dating anybody. “I have lot of friends and enemies. I may even be single even at 30,” she said jokingly. For the wrong reason, Swift had a feud with pop singer Katy Perry on the rumoured subject of track on1989 Bad Blood.”I do not want to talk about it,” Swift said.

She is a philanthropist too taking care of young children’s education. Through The Taylor Swift Education Centre, she donates money to various organizations involving children’s education and even an old age home for the needy. !n 2012 Michelle Obama presented her an award for her dedication to helping others and inspiring others to with action.
