On a beautiful rainy evening of Delhi, the main lead of the movie, Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar, along with the director Saket Chaudhary and the producer Ekta Kapoor, briefed about their movie ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effect’ which is going to release this Friday, 28th February 2014. This is the second movie of Saket Chaudhary as a director, the first was ‘Pyar Ke Side effects’ and ‘Shaadi Ke Side effects’ is the sequel of the movie. This movie is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Pritish Nandy Communications.
The movie is about comedy events a couple experiences after they get married and have a baby. The moment trailers were released, it gained amazing response from youngsters and couples who just got married or just turned into parents. According to Vidya Balan her role as Trisha is absolutely different from what she played in Ghanchakkar, wherein she enacted the role of a Bubbly Punjaban. Farhan Akhtar further adds that his role as Sid in the movie has reminded him of his real life experiences and after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, this was completely an opposite genre to act in. When asked about her experience of working with Farhan Akhtar, Vidya Balan said “It was an amazing experience to work with him and his humor is amazing”, to which Saket Chaudhary also agreed.

Apart from Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan, the movie also stars Ram Kapoor, Vir Das, Gautami Kapoor, Purab Kohli, Ira Arun, Rati Agnihotri and Mia Maelzer. The Music is directed by Pritam Chakraborty who has always proved his skills by giving amazing music to movies like Love Aaj Kal, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani etc. The lyricist is Amitabh Bhattacharya and Mikey McCleary is a guest composer.
No matter which group one belongs to, Shaadi Ke Side Effects is going to appeal all.
