The apex court of India, Supreme Court has made its intention clear that it will go ahead with the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test examinations for all the MBBS courses across the country this year itself.
Only All India Institute on Medical science would be exempted from this rule now why it has been not included in list is perplexing.

- Students have to appear nearly for 10- 12 examinations to get admissions
- The states, who are protesting have a lot of private colleges which charge hefty fees from the students
- It will make admission procedures easy
