The governor V Shanmuganathan today announced that Meghalaya government will upscale the investment in sports as the state will host National Games in year 2022.
Although, the state successfully co- hosted the 12th South Asian Games but the government will make more investment in sports domain to achieve high visibility and meaningful outcome.
The governor further added that after hosting of 12th Asian games in a successful manner, we all are geared up for hosting National Games in year 2022 and we will invest more in this domain to get prepared for such a big event.
