The 15 member squad for the India- New Zealand series was announced on Monday morning.
India versus New Zealand
The team consists of- Shikhar Dhawan, M Vijay, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha (Wicketkeeper), R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Amit Mishra, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the much debated Rohit Sharma. The selection committees headed by Sandeep Patil dropped Stuart Binny and Shardul Thakur.
The three match series against New Zealand will begin from September 22 in Kanpur and then in Kolkata and Indore.
This series will also be the beginning of home season that will see India play 13 test matches until March next year.
