Government passes special order to postpone NEET by a year

The common entrance test , NEET for admission to medical colleges has postponed by a year to give students enough time to prepare for their exams.

According to a report, the decision came after Union Health Minister JP Nadda met state officials earlier this week to discuss the issue.

Notably, the Supreme Court on May 9th had ordered to make NEET compulsory for all students to get into medical colleges.

Reacting on the ordinance Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal tweeted and urged to Prime Minister for not bringing such ordinance.

So far 6 lakh students have already appeared for the first phase of exam and now second phase exam is due for July 24th.
