‘Explore Treasures of Rajasthan’


The Lifestyle exhibition of Rajasthan, called ‘Rajasthan Treasures’ has kicked off in Delhi. The Trust of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh in collaboration with the French Embassy is all set to treat the lovers of Rajasthani handicrafts and accessories.


The exhibition was presented through the four main streams of state areas including Arts and Crafts, Travel and Tourism, Gems and Jewelry and last but not the least garments and textiles.

You can find beautiful handicrafts, and a collection of exclusive dresses with a wide range of jewelry that you would surely love to buy.


The garments have been prepared using age-old techniques such as leheriya, tie and dye gotapati etc. Apart from all this, the traditional Rajasthani Kundan Polki jewelry are also being showcased in the exhibition.

“Rajasthani items don’t have any competition and I love wearing jewelry. So, I can’t miss this chance to find some good designs”, says Kritika, a visitor at the exhibition.

Art of Rajasthan

Head of the Maharaja Sawai Man Sing trust Divya Kumari said “The lifestyle exhibition aims to encourage and revive the state of languishing arts and crafts”.


In 18th century, Maharaja Sawai Man set up 36 Karkhanas in the state to patronize ateliers of different crafts.

With a vast collection of luxury crafts, textiles and fashion accessories, this exhibition takes one through the rich and unique treasures of Rajasthan.


“The wedding season is going on and here you can find beautiful a collection of sarees and lenhgas. So I’m happy!” says Jagriti, a visitor at the exhibition.
