After creating history by becoming the first Indian woman to qualify for the Olympics, Dipa Karmakar added another feather to her cap by bagging gold medal at the test event of Rio Games.
The 22 – year -old from Tripura gave her best and collected a score of 14.833 points in her first attempt to become the first woman to clinch the gold in gymnastics event.
Notably , this is not the frist time , she has created history earlier also she had made all of us proud by bagging bronze medal in the commonwealth games.
