Chhokare trapped in child trafficking
The upcoming social thriller film which is based on the issue of child-trafficking, Chaarfutiya Chhokare is written and directed by debutant Manish Harishankar. Produced by Sunil Khosla and Vibha Dutt Khosla, Chaarfutiya Chhokare is a story which revolves around children involved in crime and their exploitation by local goons. The film also focuses on how in an attempt to protect and build a school for such children, a NRI girl (Soha) gets trapped in the murky web of crime and child abuse.
A Wave Cinemas-Ponty Chadha presentation in association with Raju Chadha, the movie is produced under the banner of Maxor movies. The movie is starring- Soha Ali Khan, Seema Biswas, Zakir Hussain, Mukesh Tiwari and Lekh Tandon.
With a stunning voice lend by Abhijit- Sameer and Sudeep Banerjee, the movie also features Harsh Mayar (I am Kalam fame), Shankar Mandal and Aditya Jaiswal.
The film is releasing on 26th September 2014.
