Can happiness break your heart?

The recent study has suggested that happy events can cause takotsubo syndrome (TTS), broken aka heart syndrome heart condition, characterized by a sudden temporary weakening of the heart muscles. This is the first time researchers have linked positive emotions with the heart break syndrome.

HEART BREAK

Since this relatively rare condition was first described in 1990, evidence has suggested that often triggered by episodes of severe, such as pain, anger or fear, with patients developing chest pains and shortness of emotional distress for breathe. It can lead to heart attacks and death.

In 20 individuals or about 4 percent people, heart damage appeared to have been caused by the happy occasions, including a birthday party, wedding, celebration surprise birth of a grandchild or favorite rugby teams win a game.
