A commendable step to boost Education for Students with special need! :- Every child has a right to follow his or her dream and to participate , contribute and strive towards the innovative and joyful world. So to add feathers to their dreams Svayam Foundation and National Bal Bhavan have joined hands to give special training to the teachers.
They have taken a commendable step towards realizing this vision of an inclusive education environment in India, Svayam Foundation and National Bal Bhavan joined hands and launched India’s first Training Certificate Programme for teachers dealing with children with special needs.
The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Sminu Jindal, Founder and Chairperson, Svayam Foundation and Dr Indumathi Rao, Vice Chairperson, National Bal Bhavan.
Objective of the program
The main objective of the programme is to closely understand the diverse needs of children with a specific with special needs in the in visual arts, scientific activities and physical activities of Bal Bhavan.
Notably the programme will also help understand basic principles, which will further help to develop barrier free and accessible environment for the children and to recognize the knowledge and skills in various activities.
Here is the criterion which one should meet to participate in the 6 month training programme. He/ she should be the age of 18 years and should be atleast 10+2 qualification.

This step will definitely help students who need special treatment and will help to build the strong future of India.
Speaking at the event on the importance of inclusive education, Ms. Sminu Jindal, Founder and Chairperson, Svayam Foundation & Managing Director JindalSaw Ltd. Said, “We strongly believe that teachers help shape the future of this country by not just imparting education, but also by inculcating values and making the future citizens of the country more sensitive towards people with special needs.”
