These companies are generously putting out money to help curb the coronavirus
Coronavirus has hit billions of lives very hard. None of the organizations has been able to find the cure of the deadly outbreak. The only way to stop the spread of coronavirus is to break the chain by practising social distancing. Governments across the world have put their countries under partial/complete lockdown. At the time of crisis, many noble people are coming forward to help their countrymen, and so are some big businesses by providing funds to the needy ones. Here we are enlisting 5 Indian businesses that are helping to stop the spread of coronavirus.
1. Hindustan Unilever Limited
Hindustan Unilever Limited also known as HUL was recently trolled on Twitter for allegedly increasing the price of soaps and hand washes. They are giving it back to the trolls and establishing themselves humane by committing 100 crores to fight the coronavirus COVID-19. They have signaled to the increase the production of sanitizers, hand washes and floor cleaners. HUL has also announced a price cut of 15 per cent of these products.
2. Mahindra & Mahindra
The Chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra, Anand Mahindra tweeted that he will create a fund to assist the hardest-hit people due to COVID-19 and offered to contribute 100 per cent of his salary towards the cause. Anand Mahindra also said that his company will soon start working on making ventilators.

3. PayTM
PayTM has committed Rs 5 crore towards the medical team who are working to find the medical solutions.
4. ITC
To ensure that the demand and supply chain of food keeps working properly, ITC has promised to double its output in the coming months so that people of the country don’t have to face a shortage of any FMCG products including Savlon handwash and soaps across all channels.
5. Vedanta Resources Limited
Vedanta has announced that they’re going to generously set aside Rs 100 crore to support contract employees and daily wage workers who are working at the mining giant’s factories.
Even the International companies like The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Alibaba group and others are helping in the fight of a deadly outbreak. Fosun, an enterprise of Chinese origin, has donated 5000 surgical masks to Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai.
