1. SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentices

SCRA exam is conducted by UPSC for the appointment of candidates as Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

Exam Level – 10+2

Syllabus – English, General Knowledge, Psychological test, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Age limit – 17-21 Years

Number of seats – 42 seats

2. NDA (National Defence Academy

NDA exam is also held by UPSC. Through this exam, students are recruited as candidates to Army, Navy and Air Force wings, which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September.

Exam Level – 10+2 (Physics and Mathematics)

Syllabus – Mathematics, English, History, Geography, Political Science and GK

Age limit – 16.5-19.5 Years

3. Indian Navy

The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian navy.

4. TC (Ticket Collector)

A person whose job is to collect tickets in Indian Railways

Age Limit  – 18-32 Years

5. Railway Station Master

Railway Station Master is considered as one of the reputed officials in a railway station. His work is to supervise, guide and approve every official task inside the railway premises.

6. Railway Recruitment Board

It is a government organization owned, controlled and managed by the Ministry of Railways, found on 27th April 1998.

7. Indian Army
