Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s legal battle continued for approximately a month. The actor has stood to testify in Depp’s 50-million-dollar defamation lawsuit over a 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post. She described Herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” She is also counter suing Depp for 100-million-dollars in damages, dvays after ex-husband took the stand in her court.

“I was wondering how I, somebody who didn’t do cocaine and was against it – that was in and of itself causing problems in our relationship – how could I hide, why would I hide his drugs from him?” she said. “Like, he was insinuating that I was doing it or something? It made no sense. And he was telling me, we’re going to conduct a cavity search. Like, he just shoved his fingers inside me. I just – I just stood there staring at this light. I just stood there while he did that.”

The 36-year-old recalled a night of alleged rage and violence at a house Depp had rented in Australia while filming Pirates of the Caribbean 5, which resulted in Heard saying: “I have never been so scared in my life.”
Heard later said: “Johnny had the bottle inside of me and was shoving it inside of me repeatedly.”
Heard says Depp took a swing at her sister Whitney. The only time she hit Depp was when her sister got involved in their fight.
“Her back was to the staircase, and Johnny swung at her. And I see my little sister with her back to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her, and I don’t even wait,” Heard testified.
“In all of my relationships to date with Johnny, I hadn’t landed a blow. And for the first time, I hit him. Like actually hit him, square in the face,” she claimed.

Heard told the jury that she suspected Depp broke her nose after punching her during a fight after the 2014 Met Gala.
“At some point, he just whacked me in the face,” Heard said of the alleged incident. “I was unsure what that feeling was, but I suspected I had a broken nose. And other than that, I remember my nose is swollen and discoloured.”

A photo was shown of a bruise on Heard’s arm that she claimed was caused by Depp during a past physical altercation.
Heard said she picked up a vase and threw it in Depp’s direction. “And I managed to get away before he got me. He grabbed me by the arm and held me on the floor, screaming at me. I don’t remember how many times he hit me in the face. Still, I remember being on the floor of my apartment, and I remember thinking, how could this happen to me again?” she said.
Amber Heard claimed that the series of assaults had continued for years even before marriage. Depp, a three-time Oscar nominee, and Heard met in 2009 on “The Rum Diary” set and were married in February 2015. Their divorce was finalized two years later.
